Shipping & Handling: FREE within USA, $2.00 abroad.
Combined shipping: FREE for this item if shipped within USA, $1.00 if shipped abroad. When I calculate the combined shipping I start with items that have larger S&H fee. For example if you buy two coins, one with S&H of $3.00 plus $0.50 per extra coin, and the other with S&H of $1.00 plus $0.10 per extra coin, then the combined shipping will be $3.00 for the first coin plus $0.10 for the second coin, for a total of $3.10 S&H.
Combined shipping, handling, and insurance for orders under $300 is capped and will be no more than $10 for US customers, $15 for Global Priority Mail to “safe” countries (see the explanation below), or $30 for Registered Global Priority Mail to all other countries. Combined S&H&I for orders over $300 may be more, depending on the total of the order.
You are welcome to continue bidding on my other items for up to one week and then make a single combined payment. It would be nice of you to notify me if you are still bidding. The winner must make a combined payment to receive the combined shipping discount.
I insure all packages through a third-party insurance company. I ship via USPS but I do not
use the USPS insurance. Therefore the actual cost of shipping and insurance will be more than just postage.
Insurance is a considerable cost hidden from the buyer. Please consider this when you decide whether
my Shipping & Handling charges are fair.
Insurance for buyers from USA: included!
Insurance for buyers from all “safe” countries shown in green in the map below, including Canada, most of Europe, Asia, and South America,
Australia, India, Israel, Japan, and so on (see the list in red for exceptions): included! Insurance coverage is limited to $300.
Insurance over $300 will cost extra, please contact me for details.
Buyers from “unsafe” countries listed below in red and also shown in the map in red must pay $12.00
(the actual USPS rate) for insured registered mail in addition to regular shipping. Insurance amount is limited to $50 but
registered letters are almost never lost. I’m sorry if your country is red but this is not by my personal choice. The thrid-party
insurance company that I use does not insure shipments to these countries, and I can do nothing about that. USPS (US Post Service)
will only insure registered mail to these countries, and then only up to about $45. A registered letter costs $12.00 in addition
to a regular airmail fare.
Insurance coverage above the aforementioned limits is available with Priority Mail or Express Mail,
which are more expensive. Please contact me for more information if interested.
