This coin and another were ‘cherry picked’ from a mint tube I bought in early 1991. For your consideration is this 1991 $10 1/4 Oz. American Gold Eagle in Uncirculated MS70/MS69+ GEM BU condition. Anyone that has bought coins from me in the past or has me on their ‘favorite sellers’ list knows that I don’t overstate my coins. This one really is a stellar coin worthy of grading if a grade is important to you.

CONDITION: I’m not a professional coin grader but this coin could potentially grade a perfect MS70. At worst it would grade MS69+ on the new PCGS Secure Plus (+) grading system. I see no imperfections in my loupe, none, nada. There isn’t a nick on the rim or anywhere else, obverse or reverse. This coin is also loaded with frost and mint luster which is what graders look for in a high grade coin. This coin benefits from a very strong strike. Ms Liberty is very detailed and look at all those strong feathers on the eagles.
Any serious gold eagle knows that this is ”THE KEY $10″ business strike date with only 36,100 minted. It’s actually rarer than the 2007 with 34,004 minted because the 2007 is currently much more available. This is the actual coin you are bidding on, NOT stock photos. I tried my best to provide crystal clear pictures of this GEM BU Uncirculated gold eagle. It looks even better with a ‘live eye’. Extremely nice!!!

This coin has been enclosed in a standard cardboard flip. I will wrap the coin/flip in bubble wrap and place in a bubble envelope for shipping. I’ve shipped hundreds of items this way and NEVER had a package not make it to its destination, with or without insurance.
