Provided for your viewing and, serious only, bidding consideration is this very rare and collectible 1847-C Circulated $2 1/2 Gold Quarter Eagle.!!! This is truly a beautiful gold piece was coined at the United States Mint in Charlotte, South Carolina!! It has a deep golden toned finish on both sides. The pictures I’ve provided are very nice but doesn’t do justice to the beauty of holding it in your hands. I’ve had this Gold Coin almost seven (7) years, and the price of gold bouillon and very rare gold coins continues to go higher and higher!! Coin magazines have valued these Minor Mint Gold Coins at a premium!! Coin Mints such as Charlotte and Dahlonega struck fewer coins, and the quality wasn’t always as efficient as at the major/primary mints, thus these Gold Coins are more scarce and valuable!!
